Indiana I-65 Lane Closure Near Remington Starts Monday for Bridge Inspection

Remington, IN – A single-lane closure on Interstate 65 southbound near Remington begins Monday, February 3. The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will shift traffic from the right lane to the left lane for a bridge inspection.

According to INDOT, the closure will start at 9 a.m. and last for several hours. The affected area includes the County Road 1800 S overpass. Drivers should expect delays and plan for possible congestion.

Crews will inspect the bridge structure to ensure its safety. INDOT urges drivers to slow down and follow posted signs. Officials recommend using alternate routes if possible.
