Indiana Weather Alert: Rain Continues Through Friday, Thunder Possible South of I-70

Indianapolis, IN – Rain will continue across Indiana through Friday, with totals reaching up to an inch in the southern regions. Thunderstorms are possible south of I-70 overnight.

According to the National Weather Service Indianapolis, most areas will receive between a quarter and half an inch of rain. Coverage will begin to diminish Thursday evening and overnight. On Friday, rainfall will primarily affect the northern half of central Indiana, especially in the morning hours.

The rain will taper off Friday afternoon, leading to dry conditions for the weekend. Temperatures will rise above normal, with highs reaching the 50s. This warming trend will continue into early next week.
