Iowa Weather Alert: Dense Fog Advisory in Effect Until 6 AM Friday

Davenport, IA – A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 6 AM CST Friday, impacting portions of Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri with dangerously low visibility.

According to the National Weather Service, areas within the advisory—including Davenport, Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, Iowa City, and Moline—will experience visibility reduced to a quarter-mile or less. The dense fog will expand north of the Highway 30 Corridor after 8 PM, while areas south of Interstate 80 may see improvement after midnight as rain moves in.
