Despite the fact that the collision itself was not very serious, the vehicle that was involved, a Toyota Camry from 2008, needed help in order to be extracted. During the course of their investigation, the police determined that the individual behind the wheel of the Camry was Carlos Sept, who was wanted for violating his probation in the state of Ohio.
Shortly after the officer made an attempt to apprehend Sept, the situation rapidly became more serious.
Through the use of force, Sept was able to escape the officer’s hands and proceed to race across all lanes of Interstate 65, so creating a hazardous situation for other motorists.
The police report states that his activities came dangerously close to causing many accidents, which is especially concerning when considering the meteorological conditions that prevailed at the time.
Following his escape across the roadway, Sept made his way into a field that was close.

September rushed into the vehicle and attempted to drive it off the tow truck in an attempt to evade detention. He was frantic to avoid being caught.
Sept ultimately turned himself in to the authorities and was brought into detention, despite the fact that he had attempted to stay away from them. During the course of the event, a police K9 was dispatched to the location, and it informed the cops that there was marijuana and what was believed to be heroin there.
After being taken into custody, Sept was taken to the Jasper County Jail, where he is currently being held on a number of crimes.
Possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, engaging in intimidation, submitting a fake identity statement, and resisting law officers are some of the offenses that fall under this category.
