Local businesses come together to help fire victims
Small businesses around southern California are coming together to help their neighbors. Lifestyle expert, Brandi Milloy, joined KTLA to go over the essentials.
- by/rosiejane: This beauty brand located in Glendale is opening up its headquarters to band together with partners, some of which include; Tower 28, Hanky Panky, Oribe, True Botanicals, to offer fire victims toiletries, personal care and beauty products. If you can’t visit in person, you can pre-order items. Friday, January 17th.
- life in jeneral: This local design firm is partnering up with brands such as Beis and Legends to provide new luggage, clothing, footwear and more. The curated pop-up is by appointment, but families can also fill out a form on their Instagram to ‘shop and drop,’ and have goods delivered to them.
- ToyBox rentals: This local company has a battery and generator swap program. They’ve also partnered with Aputure to provide battery generators for those impacted by the fires. There’s a form you can fill out on their instagram. ToyBox is offering pickup and delivery.
- LA community meals: This grassroots campaign has restaurants coming together to give out free meals to first responders, along with victims of the wildfires. They are also supporting businesses that continue to operate in the area. A $10 donation can cover a meal for someone.
- Babylist: This company will be filling their showroom in Beverley Hills for a baby gear drive. Families can pickup items including; strollers, bassinets, infant carriers, car seats, and more. This is in collaboration with partners Nina and Stoney Clover. The drive is January 21st and January 28th.
