Low Visibility Expected Overnight in Western Missouri

Kansas City, MO – The National Weather Service (NWS) in Kansas City has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for western and central Missouri, including Cass, Johnson, and Pettis counties. The advisory is in effect from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 7 a.m. Thursday.
Drivers should expect visibility below a quarter-mile, which could lead to dangerous travel conditions overnight and during the early morning commute.
The NWS advises motorists to reduce speed, use headlights, and allow extra stopping distance. Drivers are encouraged to check for updates before heading out.
