Man saves flag as Altadena home burns during Eaton Fire: Video

Video shows a man saving an American flag from a pole in the front yard of a home burning in Altadena last week.

The recording made on Jan. 7 and posted to Instagram by hinkal.usa shows a home burning on the 3000 block of Mount Curve Avenue.

“I was nearby when the house caught fire, and I decided to save the flag,” the post reads.

The video was taken by a friend of the flag-saving man and shared with KTLA.

Massive flames could be seen burning inside the home and through the roof as the man is standing just feet away.

“I would like to return it to its rightful owner,” the post on hinkal.usa states.
