Baltimore, MD – Maryland residents should prepare for potential travel hazards tonight as snow showers could create slick conditions along the I-95 corridor. Temperatures will dip into the low 30s, with roads becoming icy as the evening progresses.

According to the National Weather Service, snow showers are expected after 6 p.m., with light accumulation possible. A Winter Commuting Hazard Statement is in effect, urging drivers to slow down and allow extra time for travel. Those in areas like Baltimore, Frederick, and southern Maryland should remain alert to changing road conditions.

Looking ahead to Saturday, increasing clouds will bring a chance of rain and snow mix during the afternoon, with highs reaching 45°F. The precipitation could continue into Saturday night, transitioning to rain in lower elevations but remaining icy in colder areas.

On Sunday, snow is likely in the evening, and temperatures will sharply decline into the teens by Monday morning. Highs on Monday are forecast to stay in the low 20s, with dangerously cold wind chills. Residents are encouraged to secure outdoor property, protect exposed pipes, and dress warmly.

Tuesday will remain cold, with a high of 21°F and partly sunny skies. Another system could bring more snow midweek. Stay updated by monitoring local forecasts and avoid unnecessary travel during snow events.
