Michigan Crime Report: McDonald’s Employee Stabbed in Comstock Township, Suspect Arrested

Comstock Township, MI – A violent assault at a McDonald’s in Comstock Township led to a quick arrest Wednesday. A suspect stabbed an employee before fleeing.
Deputies from the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office responded at 11:00 a.m. to the McDonald’s on Gull Road. They found the victim, a restaurant employee, suffering from stab wounds. The suspect had already escaped on foot.
Officers quickly gathered a description and alerted nearby units. With help from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety and Kalamazoo Township Police, deputies found the suspect within 20 minutes. Authorities arrested the individual without resistance.
Investigators determined that the suspect and victim knew each other. Officials said this was not a random attack, and no additional suspects are involved. Law enforcement assured the public that there is no ongoing threat.
Emergency responders provided medical care to the victim. Authorities continue to investigate and will release more details as they become available.
