Murder Mystery: Boyfriend and His Uncle Face Charges in Woman’s Death
A mother of two who has been lost in Maryland has been found by deputies. The boyfriend has been charged with murder, and his uncle is also being sought for supposedly helping with the crime after the fact.
The search for Lesbia Mileth Ramirez Guerra, 23, came to a sad end. “While this wasn’t the ending we all hoped for, I am grateful to all those who worked so hard to find Ms. Guerra,” Charles County Sheriff Troy D. Berry said. “I want all of her family and friends to know that the Charles County Sheriff’s Office is very sorry for her death.”
Deputies say Guerra’s boyfriend, Keycy Robinson Alexi Barrera-Rosa, 24, reported her missing on April 2, two days after she was last seen for sure. Police thought there was foul play involved in her missing because on April 1, the family’s Toyota 4Runner moved from the front of the house to the back and back to the front again. Because of how the land is set up, this would have been awkward.
Police from Charles County and Prince George’s County say they looked outside of Cedarville State Forest and found Guerra buried in an area with a lot of trees.
Keycy Robinson Alexi Barrera-Rosa, 24, the boyfriend, is now being charged with murder. He had been held by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement before because he did not have the right papers. The police in Maryland also say that his 37-year-old uncle, Rolvin Eduardo Bererra-Bererra, helped with the crime after the fact.
Documents received by Southern Maryland News Net say that this uncle told police on Thursday that Barrera-Rosa told him that Guerra died from being strangled. Police say Barrera-Barrera said he helped hide the body. The statement was backed up by digital proof, according to the authorities.
