Naperville, IL: Fatal Crash at 103rd Street and Book Road Claims One Life – Under Investigation

Naperville, IL – A fatal crash late Saturday night left a 59-year-old man dead near 103rd Street and Book Road.

Naperville police and fire crews responded to the scene at 9:37 p.m. They found a blue 2008 Infiniti G35 overturned in a backyard about 100 feet from the intersection.

According to Naperville police, the driver, Patrick M. Larkin of Naperville, was traveling eastbound on 103rd Street. The Infiniti went through the intersection, crashed through a fence, and flipped onto its hood.

Emergency crews transported Larkin to a local hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.

Traffic crash investigators and reconstruction specialists worked at the scene to determine the cause of the accident. The investigation remains open.
