Las Vegas, NV – A powerful winter storm is set to bring heavy snowfall and strong winds to the higher elevations of California’s Eastern Sierra and Nevada’s Spring Mountains. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning from 10 p.m. Wednesday to 4 p.m. Friday, with significant snowfall expected.
According to the National Weather Service in Las Vegas, elevations above 7,000 feet could see 2 to 4 feet of snow in the Eastern Sierra and White Mountains, while 12 to 24 inches are forecast for the Spring Mountains and Sheep Range.
