Albuquerque, NM – A midweek warm-up will give way to colder temperatures and a rain-snow mix in Albuquerque by Thursday night. Travelers and residents should prepare for shifting conditions, with potential snow accumulation in higher elevations.

According to the National Weather Service, isolated sprinkles are expected Wednesday, followed by mostly sunny skies and a high near 50°F. By Thursday night, a chance of rain and snow develops after midnight, with a 30% chance of precipitation. Friday brings a higher likelihood of rain and snow before 9 a.m., turning into rain later in the day with a high near 62°F.

The weather system may impact travel along I-40 and local roads, especially during the Friday morning commute. By Friday night, temperatures drop near 30°F, increasing the chance of another rain-snow mix.

Looking ahead, Saturday starts with a slight chance of snow before 6 a.m., transitioning to mostly sunny skies and a high near 52°F. By Sunday, temperatures remain cool, with clear skies and a high near 57°F.
