No joke: Snooki and BJ’s collab for fried pickle pizookie
It’s the collaboration we didn’t know we needed.
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of “Jersey Shore” fame is known for her love of pickles. So, she has teamed up with BJ’s Restaurants for a new briny and crispy twist to the chain’s famous pizookie.
It’s called the Fryckle Pizookie and it’s described as “an absurdly delicious mashup of BJ’s iconic warm, gooey chocolate chunk Pizookie and creamy vanilla ice cream topped with crispy fried pickles. It’s sweet, salty, crunchy and surprisingly addictive.”
You can try the treat on April 1 for $5 and it’s no joke.
A representative for BJ’s says the deal and item are very real.
The restaurant chose April 1 because it “happens to be Pizookie Tuesday, BJ’s fan-favorite weekly deal. And for those who prefer their Pizookies pickle-free, all Pizookies on the menu will also be available for just $5.”
To celebrate the occasion, BJ’s has dubbed Snooki BJ’s official Fryck’n Vice Pickle President, which isn’t an official title… for now.
The treat comes a year after BJ’s released it’s Pizickle, which was it’s famous Pizookie topped with pickles.
“After the internet went crazy for last year’s Pizickle, we heard our guests loud and clear—they wanted more,” said Senior Vice President of Marketing at BJ’s Restaurants Heidi Rogers. “So we took their love of the sweet-and-savory combo and leveled up with crispy fried pickles. And to make it truly iconic, we teamed up with the Pickle Princess herself. Once those ideas came together, there was no turning back.”
