Thursday night remains mild with lows near 55°F and light winds. By Friday, sunshine returns, bringing highs near 70°F. The weekend forecast looks favorable, with partly sunny skies Saturday and a high near 61°F, followed by mostly sunny conditions Sunday, when temperatures may reach the low 70s.
Drivers should remain cautious on wet roads tonight, especially on U.S. Highway 70 through Newport. Fog could reduce visibility overnight before conditions improve by late morning Thursday. Warmer temperatures over the weekend will provide an opportunity for outdoor activities.
