Wind chill values are expected to make conditions feel even colder, with some areas dipping below zero. Snow showers will diminish in intensity Tuesday evening, but the bitter cold will linger.

Wednesday brings slight relief with daytime highs in the upper teens to around 20 degrees. Skies will begin to clear, but light snow remains a possibility later in the evening. These conditions may make roadways slick, especially on untreated surfaces.

Travel disruptions, particularly during the morning commute, are possible. High temperatures will reach the low 30s, providing brief respite from the arctic chill.

Officials urge residents to allow extra time for travel and dress in layers to protect against the cold. Check for updates on road conditions and weather alerts before heading out.

The National Weather Service advises staying cautious and prepared as the region continues to endure challenging winter weather.
