Oakland Police Report Three Separate Shooting Incidents with Fatalities

Two individuals lost their lives, and another person sustained injuries following three separate shooting incidents in Oakland on Sunday morning, as reported by the Oakland Police Department. These shootings occurred between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Shooting 1:

The initial shooting transpired just prior to 1:30 a.m. in the vicinity of E. 15th Street and 20th Avenue. Upon their arrival at the scene, officers discovered a victim who had sustained at least one gunshot wound.

The wounded individual was swiftly transported to a hospital and is presently in critical yet stable condition, according to OPD. No arrests have been executed, and there are currently no available descriptions of the suspect(s).

Shooting 2:

The second shooting incident unfolded right before 3 a.m. near the intersection of 17th Street and San Pablo Avenue. A victim was observed suffering from injuries caused by at least one gunshot wound.

Despite medical assistance provided by personnel, the victim succumbed to their injuries on the scene. As of Sunday afternoon, no arrests have been effected. The identity of the victim will be withheld until their next of kin has been notified.

Shooting 3:

The third shooting incident transpired just before 6 a.m. on the 9200 block of E Street. Upon reaching the location, officers spotted a victim who had sustained at least one gunshot wound.

Despite attempts to save their life, the victim passed away at the scene. As of Sunday afternoon, no arrests have been made in connection with this incident.

The identity of the victim will remain confidential until their next of kin has been informed, in accordance with OPD’s statement.
