Online drug-selling operation bust leads to 4 Los Angeles County arrests
Federal authorities have uncovered a major drug-selling operation that worked through darknet webpages and arrested four Los Angeles County men connected to the sales of the illegal drugs.
According to the office of U.S. Attorney Bilal A. Essayli, a federal jury indicted the four men on April 1. They were identified as:
- Davit Avalyan, 35, of Glendale
- Hrant Gevorgyan, 35, of Glendale
- Hayk Grigoryan, 35, aka “Hayk Greg,” of Glendale
- Gurgen Nersesyan, 43, aka “Guro Tiko,” of Sherman Oaks
According to prosecutors, all four men are facing one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute cocaine, methamphetamine, ketamine and MDMA. There are 11 additional charges leveed against the group in total for distribution or possession with intent to distribute the various illegal drugs.
All four men pleaded not guilty to all charges in a hearing in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The indictment alleges that the men participated in an operation to sell the illegal drugs online in exchange for cryptocurrency between September 2018 and February 2025. They operated under the following vendor names: JoyInc, LaFarmacia, WhiteDoc, JanesAddiction, DaShop, WhiteRepublic, Tomorowland, PlanetHollywood, DopeValley and Major2Minor.

The group allegedly shipped sold drugs to customers through the United States Postal Service after taking them to post offices throughout L.A. County, according to prosecutors.
Authorities found cash and large amounts of illegal drugs while executing search warrants in connection with the investigation.
All four men could face a statutory maximum sentence of life in federal prison if convicted.
The case was jointly investigated by the United States Postal Inspection Service, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Hawthorne Police Department, the Costa Mesa Police Department and IRS Criminal Investigation. The Los Angeles Police Department assisted with search warrant execution.
