Eugene, OR – Drivers and residents in Lane County are urged to use caution as dense fog and an air stagnation advisory remain in effect until Thursday morning. Visibility is expected to drop to a quarter mile or less today, creating hazardous conditions on major roadways, including Highway 99.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), the dense fog advisory will remain active until noon Wednesday, while the air stagnation advisory will last until 10 a.m. Thursday. Stagnant air, coupled with minimal winds, could worsen air quality, impacting those with respiratory conditions.

Looking ahead, Thursday will see patchy fog clearing by late morning, with a high of 44°F under mostly sunny skies. Overnight lows are expected to drop to 31°F, with light winds continuing. By Friday, conditions improve further, with sunny skies and a high of 42°F forecasted.
The weekend will bring partly sunny skies on Saturday, followed by clear and calm weather on Sunday and Monday, with daytime highs reaching 41°F.
