According to the National Weather Service, Sunday brings rain turning to snow by evening, with light accumulation expected. Monday and Tuesday will see additional snow showers, with overnight lows dropping into the mid-20s. The heaviest snow is expected Tuesday night, potentially affecting commutes.
Temperatures will remain below average throughout the week, with highs in the upper 30s to low 40s. Winds may reach up to 22 mph, adding to hazardous conditions. Those traveling along I-5 or Highway 26 should check for road conditions before heading out.
By midweek, precipitation continues with rain and snow showers persisting through Friday. Lower elevations will see more rain, while higher areas may accumulate up to an inch of snow.
Residents should prepare for changing conditions, drive cautiously, and stay updated on forecasts. Snow chains may be required in some areas.
