Medford, OR – A winter storm warning remains in effect until 10 p.m. Monday, bringing heavy snowfall and hazardous travel conditions to Southern Oregon. The storm is expected to dump 4 to 12 inches of snow above 2,000 feet, with additional accumulations possible in lower elevations.

According to the National Weather Service, snowfall will be heaviest Monday afternoon, impacting highways including I-5, Highway 66, and Highway 140. Officials warn that road conditions could be treacherous, urging travelers to delay non-essential trips and prepare for possible delays. Snow levels will drop overnight, leading to icy roads by Tuesday morning.
