Oregon Winter Weather Alert: Blue Mountains to See Up to 8 Inches of Snow by Friday Night

Pendleton, OR – The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisoryfor the Blue Mountains of Oregon and Washington, warning of up to 8 inches of snow and gusty winds up to 45 mph through 10 p.m. Friday.

According to the National Weather Service in Pendleton, the storm will bring moderate to heavy snowfall, significantly reducing visibility and making travel hazardous. Affected areas include Ski Bluewood Resort, Long Creek, North Powder, Meacham, Ukiah, and Tollgate.
