A fire broke out Tuesday afternoon in the rear of a Mercedes-Benz dealership on 159th Street in Orland Park, causing visible damage to multiple vehicles and the structure.
According to witnesses on the scene, the fire was reported at 8430 W. 159th St. and involved a commercial structure. Images and videos posted online showed intense flames and heavy smoke, with multiple cars parked nearby.
Local fire departments responded promptly to contain the blaze, with no immediate reports of injuries. Witnesses on social media indicated the fire appeared to originate in the dealership’s service area.
Officials have not yet disclosed the cause of the fire, and the extent of the damages remains under investigation. Updates are expected as further details become available.
