Oswego, NY – Oswego County is bracing for a prolonged winter storm, with snow totals reaching 6 to 12 inches between Thursday night and Saturday morning.
The NWS has issued a Winter Weather Advisory starting at 10 p.m. Thursday and lasting until 1 a.m. Saturday. Heavy snow will make travel challenging, especially during Friday’s morning and evening commutes.
Saturday’s outlook shows colder temperatures and reduced snowfall, though slick roads may persist into the weekend. Residents are advised to avoid unnecessary travel during the storm.
