Philadelphia, PA – Rain is set to clear out Friday night, but temperatures will dip into the 20s this weekend as February begins. Residents should prepare for a sharp drop in temperatures, with highs struggling to reach the mid-40s Saturday and Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service, rain will taper off before midnight Friday, leaving behind cloudy skies and cooling temperatures. Saturday morning will start near 35°F before gradually clearing, but a brisk north wind will keep the high near 42°F. Overnight, temperatures will drop sharply to the low 20s, marking one of the coldest nights in recent weeks.

Sunday brings more clouds and a high of 43°F, but the coldest air settles in overnight with a low around 36°F. Monday offers a brief warm-up, reaching 56°F, before another cool-down begins midweek.

Residents should dress in layers and prepare for freezing temperatures, especially Saturday night. Anyone traveling early Sunday should watch for possible icy spots.
