After a domestic incident involving a stabbing and an assault with a cast iron skillet, a suspect has barricaded themselves inside their residence.
They have also poured oil or gasoline into the garage. When AIR7HD flew over the area, blood was visible on the sidewalk.
Three individuals were transported to the hospital due to the domestic altercation.
The police were notified and arrived at the Salt Lake Place residence in Northridge around 5 p.m.
The LAPD has established a crime scene and requested assistance from the SWAT Team.
According to the LAPD, the suspect has a history of mental illness and the home contains numerous weapons.
Additionally, fire crews have been dispatched to the location. It appears that at least two of the victims are middle-aged, one male and one female.
