Robbers Strike Four Taco Stands in South LA, Prompting Police Investigation

Gunpoint robberies occurred at four taco stands in various neighborhoods in South Los Angeles on Sunday night.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the robberies took place between 9:45 and 11 p.m.

Two of the stands targeted were located in Historic South-Central, at the intersections of 43rd Street and Central Avenue, and Vernon and McKinley avenues.

Another stand was robbed in South Park, specifically at Avalon Boulevard and 51st Street.

The fourth robbery occurred in Central-Alameda at Ascot Avenue and 51st Street.

During all four incidents, the robbers stole cash, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Officer Cervantes stated that the suspects are believed to be three men, two of whom are Black and one Hispanic.

The robbers managed to escape before the arrival of the police, and they are currently at large.
