San Angelo Weather: 80% Rain Chances Forecast for Wednesday and Thursday

San Angelo, TX – Central Texas residents may see significant rainfall midweek, with the National Weather Service (NWS) predicting elevated precipitation chances beginning Wednesday evening.

According to the NWS office in Abilene/San Angelo, the region will experience an 80% chance of rain on Wednesday and a 60%-75% chance on Thursday. Areas such as Brownwood, Brady, and Ballinger are included in the forecast, with probabilities decreasing westward toward San Angelo and Sweetwater. While the likelihood of rain is high, meteorologists caution that rainfall totals remain uncertain.

The NWS also released a graphic showing the odds of receiving at least one inch of rain in 24 hours, highlighting localized areas east of San Angelo with the greatest potential for heavier rainfall. The most concentrated rainfall is projected from 6 PM Wednesday to 6 PM Thursday.
