San Antonio Crash: Driver Hospitalized after Striking Bridge and Flipping Vehicle

SAN ANTONIO – According to the San Antonio police, a man had to be rescued from his vehicle by firefighters after a crash on the South Side of the city overnight.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:20 a.m. in the 200 block of Moursund Boulevard, close to Pleasanton Road and Loop 410.

Authorities reported that, for reasons unknown, the male driver struck the side of a bridge and subsequently flipped his vehicle. Firefighters were required to extricate the man who had become trapped inside the vehicle.

The driver was transported by ambulance to University Hospital to receive treatment for his injuries. At present, his condition remains unknown.

The San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department, and EMS all responded to the emergency call.

According to the police, no other vehicles were involved in the accident, and investigations are ongoing.
