San Diego Police Apprehend Three Suspects in High-Speed Chase

SAN DIEGO – Three individuals were apprehended in the early hours of Thursday following a pursuit by the San Diego Police near the vicinity of Old Town.

According to officials from the SDPD, officers noticed a suspicious vehicle near the intersection of Interstate 8 and Morena Boulevard shortly after midnight.

Upon running the license plate through their system, the officers determined that it did not correspond to the associated vehicle. When they attempted to initiate a traffic stop, the car accelerated and fled towards Old Town.

Upon reaching the intersection of Morena Boulevard and Taylor Street, the car came to a halt, and subsequently, three individuals exited the vehicle and fled on foot.

Upon inspection, law enforcement found at least one catalytic converter, as well as multiple saws and jacks inside the car. Additionally, drugs and alcohol were discovered within the vehicle.

Later investigations revealed that the car had been reported stolen.
