San Francisco, CA – A mix of sunny days and slight rain chances are in store for the Bay Area this week. Residents can expect a warm start to the week before a slight midweek cool-down, with a chance of showers late Wednesday into Thursday.
According to the National Weather Service, Tuesday will be sunny, with a high of 66°F and light winds at 3 to 6 mph. Tuesday night will bring mostly clear skies, with temperatures dropping to 47°F. Wednesday will warm up slightly to 69°F, with sunshine throughout the day. However, clouds will move in by Wednesday night, bringing a 10% chance of showers after 4 a.m.
Thursday morning may start with lingering showers, but conditions will clear by midday, with a high of 67°F. Thursday night will be partly cloudy, with lows near 52°F. The end of the workweek looks pleasant, with Friday bringing mostly sunny skies and a high of 67°F, while nighttime temperatures will cool to 50°F.
Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday will see a slight chance of rain, with partly sunny skies and a high near 62°F. Sunday has a greater chance of rain, but conditions will remain partly sunny with a high near 61°F.
Plan outdoor activities early in the week while the sunshine lasts, and keep an umbrella handy for midweek showers.
