San Francisco, CA – A high surf warning remains in effect for San Francisco through early Saturday, with dangerous waves expected along the coast. Weekend travelers and beachgoers should exercise caution as strong rip currents and large waves could pose significant risks.

According to the National Weather Service, Friday will bring mostly sunny conditions with a high of 56°F, but winds could gust up to 23 mph. Overnight, temperatures will drop to 44°F under mostly clear skies.

Saturday starts calm and sunny, reaching a high of 58°F. However, clouds return Saturday night, leading into a 40% chance of rain Sunday. Patchy fog is expected Sunday night into Monday, potentially reducing visibility on the roads.
