San Jose police have stated that the stabbing deaths of a woman and her great-grandson were isolated incidents, assuring the general public that there is no ongoing threat.
The tragic incident occurred at the Vista apartment complex on Parkmoor Avenue near Menker Avenue in the Buena Vista neighborhood.
The discovery of the deceased woman and young boy was made during a welfare check on Friday at around 10 a.m. As of now, the authorities have not released any information regarding a suspect or motive.
Officer Steve Aponte expressed the community’s pain and trauma, particularly in a close-knit city like San Jose, where people often know one another.
