Schaumburg, IL – Police Seek Help Identifying Suspect in String of Robberies

Schaumburg, IL – The Schaumburg Police Department is asking for public assistance in identifying a suspect linked to six recent armed robberies in the Algonquin Road and Meacham Road area.
According to authorities, the suspect, described as a male between 18 and 20 years old, approximately 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 with a thin build, has been using a black semi-automatic handgun to demand cash and merchandise from businesses. After each robbery, he reportedly fled on foot into nearby residential or commercial areas.
Surveillance images show the suspect wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, light gray sweatpants or joggers, athletic shoes, black gloves, and a black face mask concealing most of his features. No injuries have been reported in connection with the incidents.
Police urge the public to remain aware of their surroundings, avoid confronting the suspect, and report suspicious activity immediately. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Schaumburg Police Department’s Investigations Anonymous Tip Line at 847-348-7055.
