Search on for missing woman who went for hike in Malibu
Investigators asked the public for help Wednesday in their search for a woman who did not return after going for a hike in Malibu.
Denise Elaine Williams, 61, a resident of Santa Barbara County last contacted her friend on Tuesday just after 6 p.m. Williams was hiking near Sweetwater Mesa Road in Malibu but has not been heard from since, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department stated in a special bulletin.
She was driving a 2005 blue Honda Civic sedan with California License 8LCB252. “There is concern for Ms. Williams’ well-being,” the Sheriff’s Department said.
Williams was wearing a tan and black jacket with native American logs, gray pants, brown boots and a white leather hat. She stands 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
