Seattle, WA – A mix of snow and rain is set to impact the Seattle area Wednesday, potentially creating hazardous travel conditions.

According to the National Weather Service, a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until Tuesday at 10 a.m., with lingering snow showers overnight. By Wednesday, a combination of rain and snow showers is expected before 1 p.m., followed by rain into the afternoon. Highs will reach 38°F, with a north wind at 5 mph.

The advisory warns that up to two inches of snow accumulation is possible, mainly in localized areas. Slippery roads and reduced visibility could make morning and evening commutes dangerous. Drivers should allow extra travel time and use caution on bridges and overpasses.

Looking ahead, Thursday will bring a slight chance of rain and snow before clearing up. Temperatures will remain in the upper 30s through Friday, with another chance of light snow showers to end the week.

Residents should stay updated with local forecasts and prepare for possible power outages due to winter conditions.
