A shooting happened early Saturday morning in the Gramercy Park neighborhood of South Los Angeles. One guy was killed, and another was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the shooting happened around 4:20 a.m. near the corner of Western Avenue and 89th Street.
When police arrived, they found two guys with multiple gunshot wounds. One was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other was taken to the hospital in very bad shape.
People say that both guys are Black and in their 30s.
At the moment, police don’t have a description of the shooter, and it’s not clear if the shooting was tied to a gang or if either of the victims was homeless.
