Cleveland, OH – Snow showers are forecast to move through Northeast Ohio on Saturday, with light accumulations expected as temperatures rise near 30 degrees. Areas along I-90, including Cleveland and surrounding cities, may see up to an inch of snow, creating slick road conditions.
According to the National Weather Service, scattered snow showers will begin late Saturday morning and taper off by the evening. Although accumulations will generally remain light, drivers should be cautious, especially in areas where precipitation persists. Temperatures will climb to 31 degrees by Saturday afternoon, slightly reducing snow build-up on roads.
The weekend weather outlook includes mostly cloudy skies on Sunday, with a high near 29 degrees and light winds. Monday will bring a break in precipitation as sunny skies and breezy conditions push temperatures to a high of 34 degrees. However, the forecast shows another round of snow showers possible by Tuesday.
Residents are encouraged to monitor local weather updates and drive carefully, particularly during Saturday’s snow showers. While conditions are not expected to be severe, untreated surfaces may become slippery.
Looking ahead, the workweek is expected to stay seasonably cold, with lows dipping into the teens by midweek. Winds will remain steady, with gusts occasionally increasing early in the week.
Stay tuned for updates as the forecast develops and plan accordingly for snowy conditions and potential delays.
