Cleveland, OH – A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for northeast Ohio from Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning. Forecasters warn of freezing rain, snow, and slick road conditions.
According to the National Weather Service Cleveland, a wintry mix will develop Saturday afternoon before transitioning to freezing rain and then snow overnight. Ice accumulation could range between 0.10 to 0.25 inches, with snow totals of up to three inches in some areas.
Untreated roads and sidewalks may become hazardous, increasing the risk of accidents. Drivers should plan ahead and use caution when traveling. Officials advise residents to prepare for possible delays and difficult travel conditions.
Temperatures will hover near freezing, making ice accumulation likely. Winds could cause additional travel challenges, especially on bridges and overpasses.
