Flagstaff, AZ – Northern Arizona residents are bracing for continued cold temperatures this week, with the possibility of snow showers by Thursday. Monday will bring clear skies and a high of 36°F, but freezing overnight lows of 11°F will make for bitterly cold evenings.

According to the National Weather Service, the cold pattern will persist through midweek, with daytime highs ranging between 35°F and 43°F. Northeast winds will gust up to 20 mph on Monday, adding to the chill, particularly during morning and evening hours. Despite sunny conditions, residents are urged to dress in layers and limit outdoor exposure.

The weather is expected to shift slightly on Thursday when there’s a 20% chance of light snow showers after 11 a.m. Highs that day will climb to 48°F, offering brief relief from the chill before snow could make travel conditions hazardous. Drivers should remain cautious, especially during early morning and late-night commutes, as freezing roadways may persist.
