 – South Carolina residents can expect a midweek warm-up, with sunny skies and above-average temperatures forecasted for Wednesday. Highs will reach 67 degrees in Columbia, with light winds increasing to 7-13 mph and occasional gusts up to 23 mph.

According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday night will remain mostly clear, with temperatures dipping to 38 degrees. The warm trend continues Thursday with highs near 64 before a shift Friday brings a 60% chance of afternoon showers. Rain is expected to continue into Friday night with a 70% chance of showers before clearing out for a sunny Saturday, with highs near 65.

Looking ahead, Sunday and Monday will be mostly sunny, with temperatures climbing to the low 70s by next week. While no severe weather is expected, residents should prepare for rain on Friday, especially for evening commutes. Travelers should monitor updates as wet conditions could affect local roadways.
