Greenville, SC – Heavy rainfall has drenched Greenville-Spartanburg over the past several days, with inches of precipitation accumulating across the region.

The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg reported rainfall totals from Tuesday through Thursday morning. Some areas recorded over 5 inches of rain, while others saw between 2 and 4 inches. The heaviest amounts appeared in western and southern portions of the region.

Forecasters urge residents to stay alert for flooding in low-lying areas and near rivers. Saturated ground increases the risk of flash flooding, especially if more rain falls in the coming days. Officials advise motorists to avoid flooded roads.

More rain remains possible in the forecast, though totals may not match recent levels. Residents should monitor updates from the National Weather Service for any new warnings.
