South Carolina Weekend Forecast: Drizzle Tonight Before Sunny Start to the Week

Spartanburg, SC – Patchy drizzle is expected overnight, but the first weekend of February will bring sunshine and warming temperatures to the Upstate.
According to the National Weather Service, light rain could develop after 4 a.m. Sunday, with cloudy skies and a low around 43°F. Drizzle may linger through 7 a.m. before giving way to partly sunny skies and a high near 53°F. Winds will remain light, shifting east at around 5 mph before becoming calm by the afternoon.
Sunday night will be partly cloudy, with temperatures dropping to 41°F. By Monday, conditions improve with sunny skies and a high of 68°F. Winds will shift southwest at 5 to 8 mph.
Looking ahead, Tuesday will be the warmest day of the week, with a high near 74°F under clear skies. A few clouds move in Tuesday night, but no rain is expected. By midweek, temperatures remain mild, with highs in the low 70s and partly sunny conditions.
Motorists should use caution during early morning travel Sunday due to potential wet roads. Stay updated with local forecasts as temperatures fluctuate throughout the week.
