Columbia, SC – South Carolinians can look forward to sunny skies and mild temperatures this weekend before rain moves in Monday. Saturday will feature clear skies and a high near 51 degrees, offering ideal conditions for outdoor activities.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures on Saturday night will dip to a low of 27 degrees under partly cloudy skies. Sunday is expected to remain mostly sunny, with highs reaching 56 degrees. Calm winds will add to the pleasant conditions, making it a great day for local events or errands.

However, the weather is set to shift early next week. A 40% chance of showers is forecast for Monday, primarily before 1 p.m. Highs will reach 54 degrees with mostly cloudy conditions throughout the day. Residents planning a morning commute or outdoor activities should carry an umbrella and anticipate possible slippery roads.

Tuesday will bring a return to sunshine, with highs climbing to 63 degrees—an unseasonably warm day for late January. Clear skies are expected to persist into Wednesday, keeping the middle of the week mild and dry.

Plan to enjoy the clear weekend weather while preparing for early-week rain. Stay informed by checking forecasts frequently and monitoring updates for changing conditions.
