South Wilmington Food Assistance: Catholic Charities Hosts Mobile Pantry on February 24

South Wilmington, IL – Families in need of food assistance can visit a free mobile food pantry in South Wilmington on Monday, February 24. The Catholic Charities Diocese of Joliet will host the event at St. Lawrence, 165 Rice Rd., from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.

According to Catholic Charities, the mobile food pantry will provide groceries at no cost. Anyone facing food insecurity is welcome. Volunteers will distribute fresh produce, canned goods, dairy products, and other essentials.

The Diocese of Joliet operates mobile food pantries throughout the region. The program helps families struggling with rising food costs and financial hardships. Guests do not need to register in advance.

Organizers encourage attendees to bring bags or boxes for easy transport. The event will take place rain or shine. If you or someone you know needs food, plan to visit St. Lawrence on Monday.
