Suspect at large after man shot, killed in Victorville
Authorities are searching for a suspect after a man was shot and killed in Victorville this week.
According to the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to an apartment complex for an assault with a deadly weapon call at about 7:14 p.m. on Thursday, April 17.
Upon arrival at the complex on Seneca Road, deputies found 53-year-old Apple Valley resident Jermaine Trotter on the ground in a parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
On Sunday, Trotter died from his injuries.
As of Thursday, authorities say a suspect has not been identified.
