Suspected Drunk Driver Arrested After Crashing Into Home in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO – A suspected drunk driver who crashed into a home on the West Side has been arrested by the police.

The incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. on Wednesday, at a residence near the intersection of West Laurel Street and Culebra Road.

According to the authorities, it seems that the man lost control of his vehicle, hit a curb, and then rolled over, ultimately crashing into the house.

As a result of the collision, a gas line was ruptured, causing a loud hissing sound and spreading the smell of natural gas throughout the neighborhood.

Although the driver initially fled the scene on foot, he was apprehended shortly afterward and charged with driving under the influence.
