Tallahassee, FL – Rain and chilly temperatures are set to kick off the workweek in Tallahassee, with frost likely by midweek. Residents should prepare for a wet Monday and freezing conditions in the days ahead.

According to the National Weather Service, rain is expected to begin overnight and continue into Monday morning, with a high near 48°F. The evening will bring cloudy skies and a low of 38°F, setting the stage for frost early Tuesday. Commuters should allow extra time Monday and Tuesday morning, as slick roads and low visibility could create hazardous conditions.

Tuesday will see partly sunny skies with highs near 56°F, but frost may develop again in the early morning hours. By Wednesday, temperatures will remain cool, with a high of 54°F, before warming slightly to 58°F by Thursday.

Residents are advised to protect sensitive plants and ensure outdoor pets are brought inside during frosty mornings. While conditions improve midweek, temperatures will stay below seasonal averages, keeping jackets and rain gear essential through Wednesday.
