Corpus Christi, TX – A dense fog advisory is in effect for much of South Texas until 10 a.m. Wednesday, with visibility dropping to a quarter-mile or less in several areas. Drivers are urged to use caution as hazardous conditions impact roads across the region.

According to the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi, the advisory affects multiple counties, including Nueces, Victoria, Goliad, Webb, and Kleberg. Coastal and inland communities such as Corpus Christi, Laredo, and Port Lavaca are experiencing the thickest fog.

The low visibility could make travel dangerous, especially on highways and near water bodies. Motorists are advised to reduce speed, use headlights, and allow extra distance between vehicles.

Fog is expected to gradually lift later this morning as temperatures rise. However, lingering mist and moisture may keep some areas foggy for a few hours beyond the advisory period.

For real-time updates, travelers should check local weather reports and traffic conditions before heading out.
