Austin, TX – A gradual warming trend is set to bring milder afternoons to Austin this week, though chilly mornings will persist.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday will start cold, with morning lows near 36°F. By the afternoon, temperatures will climb to a high of 54°F under mostly sunny skies. Light winds will keep conditions calm, making it a pleasant day for outdoor activities despite the crisp start.

Tuesday offers a similar outlook, with highs reaching 56°F and overnight lows hovering around 40°F. By midweek, the warming trend will be more noticeable. Wednesday and Thursday are expected to see highs rise to the low-to-mid 60s, with continued dry conditions and partly sunny skies.

While most of the week will remain clear, a slight chance of showers returns late Thursday night into Friday. Residents planning evening commutes on major roadways like I-35 should stay cautious as rain could create slick conditions.

Overall, Austin’s weather this week promises a mix of cooler-than-normal mornings and mild afternoons, offering relief for outdoor plans. Be sure to dress in layers to stay comfortable throughout the day.
